Good day everyone!

Thank you for joining me today...Time has not been my friend lately and I am so happy to be able to do some crafting today.  I thought I would get this challenge out of the way sooner rather than later before my friend time gets in the way again LOL.

The Copic Markers I used for colouring this image are;

The paper was black stripes with white between the black.  So I used the Reds and the Blues to coordinate my paper to my image!  I love doing that!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday and a few days ago my husband says to me "Can you make me a birthday card?"  Now I thought it was for his birthday that is middle of January so I said no problem honey! I have lots of time! He said "No, you only have 2 days" and snickered....The bugger wanted me to make my own birthday card for him to give to me LOLOL. Now I thought at first cheap bugger but then I thought hmmmmm that was really sweet that he likes my cards so much that he wanted to give me my own creation!

So I thought to myself, I could just make a card but thought I would challenge myself and make a mixed media card...my first mixed media project! I think it turned out pretty nice.

My daughter comes home this weekend and is meeting with her close friends to celebrate my daughters 18th Birthday!  WOW where does the time go?  During their lunch or dinner or maybe linner LOL they will also exchange Christmas prezzies!  So Ashley asked me to make some cards for her friends.  I had to make this one for one of her friends Monica because before they went to university they got together and made those mugs you colour up from Michaels and were drinking warm drinks I even think it might have been hot chocolate with marshmallows!

It's always nice when your daughter hires you to make christmas cards for her Friends!  This one is for Victoria.  She and Ashley have been friends for about 4 years now.  I hope its a life time of friendship!

My Baby turns 18 today!

WOW!  18 years ago I had the most beautiful daughter in the world...I can say that because I am her mother ;c)   So I was compelled to make her a birthday card.  I hope she likes it.  I used her University Colours on the card to pair up the next chapter in her life begins with Adulthood!

The Digi that I used was Chels 18 from Simply Betty Stamps!  When I got this stamp although it was made for Chels it resembled my daughter quite a bit!  So I knew when the time came and Ashley celebrated her 18th birthday that I would use this image.  I paired it with the Tim Holtz Crazy Things Stamps for the Party Hat, Balloons and in the inside of the card, the Wrapped Gift.

SBS Fan Page Valentine's Swap

 Happy Valentines Day Betty!

I just started doing some swaps at Xmas where I had participated in 2.  So my third was quite daunting!  Of all people to get was Betty from SBS!  The pressure!!!! LOL.  It took me over 6 hours to make this card LOL..Who spends 6 hours making a card!  Clearly it was made with love and admiration for Betty.

This is what Betty sent to me....whooooooppppppiiiiiieeeeee!!!

Darn borders kept us both from getting our packages on time, but we can both look forward to getting the items soon!  I can't wait to get mine!  Thanks for such a great gift Betty!  Eeeeeekkkkkk!!! I think those are SOCKS??? OMG SOCKS are the gift of our Christmas!!!!  Everyone in our family has to get multiple socks (wraped up together, in a bunch of pairs, in a singular SOCK!  LOL each year we have to wait until our birthday to get the matching SOCK LOL)  Good thing my birthday is 5 days after Christmas...my daughter - not so lucky she is Dec 4th LOL  its a long wait for that sock LOLOL.  Cant wait!

I am so excited about this challenge!  Our members at Outlawz told us that they really liked the Progressive Monthly Challenge that we used to do....So Guess what everyone....IT IS BACK!!!
