141027 - Anything Goes Challenge - Jingles the Elf

Hi Folks!

I hope you all had a fantastic party this past week.  I also hope that you were able to get in on the games for a chance to win some fantastic prizes!

Thanks for taking the time to pop by to see my card details for the challenge from the Outlawz - Monday Greetings for October 27th! The theme this week is Anything goes!  My image is is from Inky Designs called Jingles The Elf

I love when you get an image that completes the whole project with minimal bling or embellishments.  You find that perfect paper that just does it all!  I cut out the image and then pop dotted the heck out of the image LOL.  It gives it the dimensional aspect that looks like the bunny is walking behind the walls like in a mouse hole.

The Copic Markers that I used this week were;

Fur: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44 and E49
Bunny Ear: RV11, RV32, RV34
Tongue: RV20
Nose and Buttons: 110
Hat: R35, R37, R39, R56, R59
Shirt/Eyes: YG95, YG99, G99
Belt/Bag: T1, T3, T5, T7
Hat Brim/Collar and Trim on Shirt: W0, W1, W2, W3

I would like to add this project to the following challenges;

I hope you enjoyed popping by and I will look forward to seeing you next week.

Where can I join in for the fun? - Click Here!

The OutLawz are having a P A R T Y (for some reason I am singing Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus LOL).  Come and join us...not a member - NO PROBLEM!  Join us and register to become a member.  We love new crafters!

All Dressed Up - Cute got Cuter

Isn't the title of this digi just the bomb?  Cute Just got Cuter!  It was a freebie that I was able to get from All Dressed Up Stamps Blog.  It was perfect because all you need to enter their existing challenge is to use an All Dressed Up Stamp.

The Copic's that I used to colour this Digi are;

Fur - E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E49
Ear Fur - N1, N3, N5
Bow and Fire Hydrant - R34, R39, R59
Bone - E40, E41

The fire hydrant is a stamp from Stampin Up - Canine Capers.  I cut it out and then curled it to have the effect of the roundness of the true fire Hydrant.

The background paper is also a stamp from the same Stampin Up collection and I embossed the paw print with clear embossing powder and a heat gun.

Betty's Spider Incident LOL

So I heard one of my favourite designers had a spider problem!  This was one of the first images that I had coloured from her line awhile ago.  It was when I had no clue to keep the colours of the markers I was using (well I did keep track when I was colouring, I just didn't record it and clearly the two papers went their own way so lost track of the actual colours).  It's too bad too I love how the colour of the skin turned out.  It was the first time I had done the skin any different than my traditional copic markers.

If I find the paper I will modify the post and list them.

141020 - Outlawz Challenge - Theme - Circles - Dr Digi - Headsman Heathcliffe

Hi Everyone,

The challenge this week for the Outlawz is Circles!  My circles are in a few places.  The first and most obvious to me is the background paper with the green, purple and yellow circles.  Under the bow is the a circle that I cut into half and then placed one above the other.  The next is the actual pumpkin and last is the ribbon has purple circles down the centre of the ribbon.

The image that I used is Dr Digi - Headsman Heathcliffe.  I goofed with my watercolour background on Heathcliffes arm.  I cleverly covered up with a tattoo of the devils pitchfork.  I coloured the image with the following Copic Markers;

Skin: E000, 00, 21, 11, 04
Pumpkin: YR15, 68, 27
Pumpkin Eyes: W3, 5, Y19, YR15, 23
Wood: E31, 35, 57, 79
Blade: W1, 3, 5
Shoes/Mask: C1, 3, 5, 7
Pants: B91, 95, 97, 99

Background is Blueish Watercolour Paint

Sentiment was dictated by my husband LOL

I hope you enjoyed this weeks challenge!  I hope you follow us next week for another challenge.  Good Luck!

Mummified

Hi Everyone!

I coloured this image while following along with a tutorial from Zoe from Make It Crafty while my daughter enjoyed herself at Canada's Wonderland!  Geesh what a mom won't do for their kid huh?

Anyhow the colours I used for this image were;

Skin - E13
Bandages - W3, 5, 7, 9, 110

I am entering this card into the following challenges;

The colours I see are the purple (main colour) then from the pillow I pulled out the green and orange. The Obsidian October challenge - I wasn't sure what Obsidian meant LOL - so I went to Google (isn't that what we all do?) and found that it was a lava rock.  I mimicked this part of the challenge with the 5 purple crystals on the image.

Hope you enjoyed popping by.  Come join us at the Outlawz for the party starting now and will last until 24th!  Cant wait to see you around.

141015 - Sketch Challenge - Thanks

Hi Everyone!

Awhile ago I bought these stamps from StampinUp because I loved the sentiments and thought they would make elegant cards.  I took the stamp and hand painted the colours using craft stamps (the ink stays wetter longer) then I used clear embossing powder and heat set the powder.

I then cut out the letters of T H A N K S and then Stickle Glittered these in Copper.

I mounted the white card stock onto a deep hunter green.

Stuck a bow onto the card and voila!  All complete!  Only took me 2 hours LOL.  But the satisfaction of the card was totally worth it in my opinion.

I entered this card into the Outlawz challenge for Wednesday for Sketches!

Oct 12-Outlawz Challenge - Embossing

Hi Everyone!

This week at Outlawz the challenge is embossing.  My embossing embellishment is the word Christmas.  I cut this out of white card stock with the Die Cut set from Sizzix called Holiday Words: Script.  I then used two embossing powders - Midnight Stars then I added some White Sparkle powder to the top before melting the powders with the heat gun.

The image I used this week is from Lacy Sunshine called Fidget - The Flying Monkey.  Great image this was and it gave me some practice colouring wings.  Not bad for my 4th set of wings LOL.  The colics I used for this image are;

Skin:  E000, 00, 21, 11, 04, R20
Hair: B41, C5, 7, 9, 100
Shirt/Socks/Hat: R35, 37, 56
Jumper/Socks/Hat/Eyes: G24, 28, 29
Wings: RV10, R83, 85, 89

The Card was a new DieCut that I bought from Sizzix called Card with Merry Cut-Out.

I have entered this project into the following Challenges;
